Peoria’s Economic Development Services Dept is hosting a free small-business seminar from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Wednesday August 17, 2011.

Karen Taylor, President of New Destiny Marketing, will lead this hands-on workshop to help you learn techniques from different areas of marketing and how to put them to use to grow your business. Topics include: How to promote your business, social media, press releases, developing press contacts, targeting the “low hanging fruit” for the fastest sales turnaround, retaining your clients, and how to develop referrals.
